Pastor Nadeem was born and raised in Pakistan. After graduating with a degree in Applied Psychology from a prestigious institution, he started his career as an entrepreneur and continued that until he migrated to the USA in 2010. Soon after coming to the States, he joined Floris UMC, which became a second home, where he felt called to ordained ministry. To meet the education requirement to become an elder, he went to Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington D.C., where he completed his Master of Divinity degree. Pastor Nadeem started his ministry at his home church, Floris United Methodist Church, Herndon, Virginia, as Associate Pastor, where he had the opportunity to learn from the best, Bishop Tom Berlin, who was the senior pastor at Floris. After serving at Floris for four years, Pastor Nadeem was appointed at Crenshaw UMC, Blackstone, Virginia, in July 2018 and served for six years until his next appointment at Bethel United Methodist Church in July 2024. He is working on his doctoral degree to advance his education to become a more effective pastoral leader to help the local church grow.
Pastor Nadeem is married to Rupa, and they have three children, Kassaf, 19; Kadisha, 17; and Kevin, 13. Pastor Nadeem loves traveling and meeting new people. Spending time with family on the beach or swimming pool is always a bonus. His favorite bible verse is Proverbs 9:10: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
